i am swamped right now with work. Different "collections" for various people plus our own Spring line which seems to be at the bottom of the pile right now. Here's some hedgehogs i did last night at 2.am. It's going to be a busy week so blogging might be a bit sparse. I will try to make the Jeffrey Harrison opening on Thursday evening at the Parts Gallery.

when i was at art school i did a series of photographs on barbershops. living in s.a. at the time it was commonplace to find them not only on almost every city block, but haphazardly setup on a sidewalk for passing traffic to get a quick "do". i became fascinated with the subject and did lots more. its something i will get into again + i realise that it's a universal subject that seems to have the same imagery wherever you are in the world. i do see them still in almost every neighbourhood i visit... i guess there is still a need in fact i must pay a visit to my dad's but that's not for a cut and style! (although when i was younger i did once or twice)

this is an antique merry-go-round on centre island, off Toronto. i loved the paintings in the middle and the graphics on the animals. the animals on the outside edges are stationary and the ones on the inside go up and down. Even i went for a ride - it can pick up quite a speed! + i didn't get dizzy.
